As we age our skin produces less collagen and elastin. This can lead to wrinkles, laxity, and other signs of aging.
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy (CIT), is a procedure that uses an electric, oscillating pen with a needle cartridge to create micro-wounds that stimulate your skins natural wound healing response, which is to create collagen and elastin. The procedure also allows select nutrients in the form of a serum to be delivered into the deeper layers of the dermis. This can give your skin a firm, smooth, bouncy texture, and even complexion that’s synonymous with youth and beauty.
Hair Loss- microneedling has been used successfully to reduce hair loss and stimulate new hair growth in the follicle. I would highly recommend this procedure in conjunction with Ozone Steam and Red Light Therapy.
Microneedling involves the production of new skin cells, which takes time. You may experience some immediate improvements, but it can take up-to 90 days post treatment to see the full results of the procedure.
During a microneedle session your skin will be prepped by cleansing, then we will numb the skin with a topical numbing agent. The procedure will take anywhere from 1 hour to 90 minutes, including numbing application.
The treatment can be preformed every 30-45 days. A series of 3-6 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results. It is also suitable for any skin tone and does not require you to be tan free.

This treatment can provide the same great benefits as microneedling with a less intense procedure.
The “needle” size is a-lot smaller than that of the micro. It’s about 1/3 the width of a human hair, hardly visible to the naked eye.
Because of the size and depth of the nanoneedle, there is no risk of bleeding or bruising. There is also no need for freezing. It’s a quick procedure with little down time.
